"YOUR HOME FOR ALTERNATIVE ROCK" SINCE 1999
Since 1999, “The Alternation” has been “your home for alternative rock,” Monday-Saturday on 88.9/WSTB. This program is run by Streetsboro High School students who can join by taking the Broadcast I class.
This class covers many aspects of radio, including sales and marketing, FCC regulations, and gaining on-air experience. The knowledge gained not only provides students with the necessary tools to be on staff, but it also skills that can be used in a variety of occupations after high school.
