Top Donor Contest

Contest Dates. Begins at 5:00am Monday, June 5th; Ends at 10:00pm Saturday, June 10th.

Determination of Winner. The winner will be the individual who has made the largest donation.

• The donation can come in the form of a single donation for a combination of smaller donations during the contest dates.

• The donation must have cleared the bank, thus a written check that has not cleared the bank cannot be counted.

• Online and cash donations will be counted.

• Online donations must come through with a time-stamp no later than the closing time of the contest.

• Donations cannot be combined with other persons to produce a higher total.

• Last minute donors can only make one pledge per phone call. To increase your pledge you must hang up and call back. (It’s not fair to other donors to tie up the phone line for 10-15 minutes).

Notification of Winner. The winner will be announced on-the-air shortly after 10:00pm on Saturday, June 10th. Immediate attempts to contact the winner will be made via telephone and/or email. If there is no response from the winner within 48 hours, the premiums will go to the next highest donor, etc. In the event of donations of equal amounts, the earliest time-stamped donor will be declared the winner.

Premium Awards. In addition to all premiums awarded at the membership level just passed, the contest winner will also receive:

• An Alternation clock

• An Alternation license plate frame

• A WSTB bottle opener

• Two Mad Cow stress plushies

• An additional (first one being from top daily donor prize) carload pass (good for up to 6 people) to the African Safari Wildlife Park in Port Clinton, OH

If the Top Donor declines any part of the package WSTB/88.9FM reserves the right to offer it to the next highest donor.

Eligibility. Staff members of WSTB and members of their immediate families are not eligible to win.

Daily Top Donor Contest

Contest Times. The daily contest will run from 5:00am and to 10:00pm each day. (Donations made after 10:00pm will be counted towards NEXT day’s contest.)

Premiums. In addition to all premiums awarded at the membership level just passed, the top daily winner will also receive:

• A black Alternation mug

• A carload pass (good for up to 6 people) to the African Safari Wildlife Park in Port Clinton, OH

Short-Term Contests

Through the week of the Membership Drive the Alternation will offer random short-term contests for select items/tickets/vouchers. The criteria, including the ending time, for these contests will be announced on-the-air at the time of the contest.
